RS Line has a strong reliable work force of nearly 200 field staff employed full-time year round but can quickly ramp up to over 300 staff during busy periods and large projects. The level of training and competency throughout our staff is second to none. Employees maintain their professional level of competence through ongoing training provided by the company to ensure that our workforce is performing at the highest possible level of competence and safety. This ongoing training is one of the major contributing factors for the numerous safety awards presented to us by our peers in the trade as well as the Alberta Government.
Our management team is a firmly dedicated team providing a safe work environment while at the same time maintaining our core value of great customer service to our clients. These values are practical and clearly evident throughout the corporation from the owners to the staff on the right of way.
RS Line's work force is comprised of certified Journeyman Power Linemen, Power System Electricians, Electricians, Apprentices, Operators and Laborers. Work force numbers are dependent on workload and vary from 200 to over 300 employees.

Mitch Gunter, General Manager
- Journeyman Power Lineman Certificate - Interprovincial
- 15 years in the power line industry (4 years with R.S. Line as Distribution Supervisor)
- 25kV live line training
- ACSA training in supervisory and management skills
Terry Dixon, Corporate Safety Officer
- Journeyman Power Lineman Certificate –Power System
- 37 years experience in power line industry (22 years with R.S. Line)
- Experience in urban, rural, oilfield and commercial distribution systems
- Experience in transmission, underground and substation construction
- 9 years with R.S. Line as Distribution Crew Foreman
- 10 years as Supervisor of 25 kV Distribution and Firm Bid Contract
- 2 years as Corporate Safety Officer.
